Christmas 2009

It's hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone. We had a wonderful Christmas. The best part of my day was when Cameron said, "this is the best Christmas ever." I melted.... It brings true joy to Andrew and I to see Cameron so happy and excited. I will say I am exhausted though. Grandmommy (Drew's mom) and Uncle Chuck were with us for Christmas Day. Actually, Grandmommy was with us all week and it was great having her here. We did Christmas Eve with Nana and Grandaddy. They spent Christmas morning in Charlotte with my brother's family.

Santa came in a big way.

Cameron adores his Uncle Chuck and was stuck to him like glue all day Christmas day.

Nana and Grandaddy gave Cameron a new bike and he was so excited. I think totally surprised too.

Christmas Craft and sick :-(

This past weekend we had rain and it was really cold. So we stayed in and did crafts. Cameron made a Christmas tree with Daddy's help. It was tons of fun and Cameron was very proud of his tree.

My sweet boy passed out after crafts.
Little did I know he was getting sick and has been ever since. 103 fever Sunday night. Drew took him to the doctor on Monday and Dr. Dixon said it was just a virus, but he seemed to get worse the rest of the week. After 4 nights of being up with him and all of us were miserable at that point, we went back today. Big fat ear infection with awful congestion and cough.
Thank goodness for Omnicef. Hopefully, he is on the mend and can go back to school for one last party tomorrow. Wish us luck for a restful night!

Decorating for Christmas

Cameron had a ball helping decorate for Christmas this year. He loved looking at all the ornaments and especially loves his new train. Also, the nativity is one of his daily favorites. He specifically asked for it to be on the bottom shelf so he could see it.

Thanksgiving 2009

I am a little behind in my blogging, but I wanted to get these pictures on here before Christmas gets here. Which by the way, I can't believe is NEXT WEEK.

This year for Thanksgiving Uncle Mark, Aunt Jackie, Kaitlyn and Caroline came here. We had a great weekend. It was busy and we were wiped out by Sunday. (Sorry for the pictures being a little out of order.) Jackie and I did a little doorbuster shopping on Black Friday, we went bowling, to the Children's Museum and the kids exchanged Christmas gifts. What fun we had! Caroline, Kaitlyn and Cameron playing grocery store at the museum.
Driving the grocery truck.

Painting.
Playing in the moon sand.
And bowling. Cameron was so excited to play. At first he got upset because he didn't think he was going to get to play. It was hard for him to wait his turn. This was a lot of fun. Daddy is instructing him.

And the best part of the day posing with their new gifts.
