My doctor has already scheduled my c-section. July 12th at 7:30 a.m. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. Whew that's early! Friday, July 9th I will have all the pre-op stuff done. The nurse said to me, "if you make it that far."
I am starting to have some contractions. Only 2 an hour, but still contractions.
I see the specialist tomorrow. I can't wait to see how much the boys have grown. Cameron and my mom are coming with me, so they will get to see these little guys.

Soccer Spring 2010
Today was our second soccer and it was freezing on the field. The wind was strong. Cameron's age group starts at 8:30 - which seems crazy. He is really enjoying playing and learning a lot. The coach is great and really has a lot of patience. Not sure I would have the patience to manage twelve 3 and 4 year olds on the soccer field.
Warming up with a few jumping jacks. (Cameron is in the Gap warm up jacket - he must have been cold because he kept his hood on and it took him awhile to take his hands out of his pockets).

23 week Doctor appt.
I saw my doctor this week and I got an excellent report. He said, everything looked very normal and he was very pleased with how I was doing. When he measured my belly, he said I am measuring as if I were 32 weeks pregnant. Ouch! So he said all the aches and pains you are having, just remember you are as if you were 32 weeks pregnant. I asked him if he got the report from the specialist a few weeks back. He had and I asked him if he saw how the boys were measuring ahead of schedule. I said, I could have 6lb babies and he looked at me and said you could have 7lb babies. Double Ouch! Another good report. I see the specialist next week for another ultrasound. We'll get to see how much they have grown in 4 weeks. I will update after that appt.
23.5 Weeks
Diggin for Fossils
The instructions said to wear goggles and Cameron took that very seriously.
Notice the new picnic table. I love this thing and Cameron seems to be enjoying it so far too. Originally, I was looking at a different brand which only seated 6 (but it looked more like 4 to me), and then I found this one that seats 8. I was so excited to find this one, since 3 of the little people using this will be our own children. If we were to have any guests there needs to be more space. Mommy's 34th Birthday!
When I came home from work on my birthday, Andrew and Cameron had worked very hard on a party for me. They decorated the house with a banner, balloons, a yummy cake and gifts. Cameron was so excited to show me the surprise when I got home from work. He had worked so hard setting the table with dinosaur plates and napkins. It was so special! I truly have amazing men/boys in my life.
My mom and dad were here too for the surprise.
I had a fabulous birthday weekend. Sat. night Cameron spent the night with Nana and Grandaddy and Drew took me to the Melting Pot. It was really nice. Then on Sunday my amazing mom made me a wonderful steak dinner at her house with Uncle Chuck too.

Next year there will be 5 of us. Yikes! :-) I have to say, I am looking forward to being surrounded by all my boys!
Painting Dinosaurs
As most of you know, Cameron LOVES dinosaurs. He and I had a special day together one day in February when I took the day off, because Nana had an appointment. We had such a good day! We went out to lunch and to the book store which is one of his favorite things to do. He found a Paint Your Own Dinosaur set and the sucker that I am, got it for him and it was worth it. He loved painting them and has them displayed in our family room. :-)

Dear God
On our way home yesterday, Cameron says, Dear God: Please make the rain go away. I want to play outside.
We have had rain here for two days solid and it doesn't look like it's going to clear out of here until Sat. afternoon. I am hoping our Spring and Summer is not as rainy as our Winter has been. We'll all go nuts - not being able to play outside.

Playdate
A couple weeks back Cameron had a play date with Jack and Ruby at Jack's house (his buddies from preschool). These three really like playing with each other. They get along so well and are always excited to see each other. I think both boys are extremely fond of Ruby. Cameron calls Ruby his sweetie pie and Jack calls her his girlfriend.
Stephanie had a wonderful lunch for us and it was so nice and relaxing. I can't wait to do it again real soon.
Big Family
Drew is out of town so when Cameron got up at 1:30 in the morning, rather than getting myself up and walking him back to his bed I just let him crawl in bed with me. The first thing he said/did this morning when he woke up was count on his fingers - 2 brothers, 1 mommy, 1 daddy, cameron and george (our cat). He said, we have a big family. It might be an adjustment for him at first, but I think he is going to love having a big family.
He just wants to be a helper these days and I think he's going to want to help with the babies. We've been cleaning out closets and organizing the house. (A bigger job than I anticipated.) He has been a big help with taking the trash out and helping me carry things.
I have lots of pictures to update, so I hopefully can get that done very soon.

Appt. with Perinatalogist
Tuesday I had my appointment with the specialist. I saw Dr. Allen and he was great. The appointment took a long time as she measured every square inch of Baby A and Baby B. The tech measured the thigh bone, shoulder bone, head - front and back, abdomen, heart and brain. You could actually see the 4 chambers of their hearts and the 2 hemispheres of their brains. It was quite amazing! Although, I was not too impressed with the 3d images that they printed out for us, but apparently they can see exactly what they need to see. Dr. Allen was able to zero in on their hearts and really take a look to make sure they were developing like they should and there were no holes in their hearts. All checked out very well for both babies. Interesting information was that one baby is measuring at 20 weeks 5 days and the other is measuring 20 weeks and 3 days - ahead of schedule. Also, one baby is measuring at 14 ounces and the other is measuring at 12 ounces - which from what I have researched at 20 weeks normal weight would be 10.5 ounces. So these boys are measuring ahead of schedule and are growing very well. I am pretty sure they told us that Baby A is the bigger baby. Definitely Baby A is the more active one - he doesn't like to stay still on the ultrasound for very long. Cameron was the same way.
I have a feeling our boys are going to be on the bigger side of twins. Yikes! I will post a picture of the 3d ultrasound soon.
