Well... Andrew and I have finally decided on names for our boys.
Baby "A" will be Carter Robert and Baby "B" will be Christian Andrew.
Whew! We had or I should say I had a hard time with naming these boys.
And yes, it will be confusing at times especially when we are with my brother and his family.

27.5 Weeks - High Amniotic Fluid for Baby B
I saw both doctors this past week. My OB measured me as if I were 38 weeks pregnant. Yikes!! This is just crazy! I saw the perinatologist the next day and both babies are developing on track and look good. Baby A is measuring at 2 lbs 5 ounces and is average and baby B is measuring 2 lbs 13 ounces above average with high amniotic fluid. I had the same high amniotic fluid with Cameron which is what put me into preterm labor and on bed rest. When I saw Dr. Allen 3 weeks ago he had made a note that Baby B's fluid was a little on the high side, but nothing to be concerned with. When I saw him this past week, he called it excessive and was concerned. He said, no wonder you feel the way you do and are having contractions. So needless to say, I felt validated that I wasn't just being a wuss because I am so uncomfortable. He also said that this is the reason I am so large.
So my first question was what can we do and he said actually the first question is why is this happening. He said, a lot of people that have this high amniotic fluid could have or be developing gestational diabetes. Which I just got my results back on Friday from the glucose test and I am in normal range and do not have gestational diabetes. Thank goodness. He also said, that problems with high amniotic fluid could mean something wrong with the baby, like blocked intestine or heart issues. He said, that he has scanned both of these babies several times and sees nothing wrong with them and they look great. Praise God!! Then I reminded him I had this problem with Cameron and he said some people are just prone to this and it's possible that I am prone to this type of thing.
Next we talked about what to do. One thing we could do if I were to the point that I am so uncomfortable that they could insert a needle (hospital procedure) into the sac and drain the fluid. But there are risks that come with that for BOTH babies. So that is not an option for us - Drew and I will not put these babies at risk if we don't have to. Then, he said if I were to go into preterm labor there is a drug that they would use that is very effective for this type of thing and that is very safe for me and the babies (hospital stay over 3-5 days). The problem with that is they cannot do it after 31 weeks because it is harmful to the babies at that point.
So I see him back in 2 weeks and we see what the level of the fluid is at that point. He said, that the fluid should peak and then level off.
He did say to watch my contractions, take it very easy, and took me out work. At least this time, they have caught this in time and if anything like preterm labor happens they will know what they are dealing with. I am very confident in both of my doctors and I am just listening to their advice at this point. We are praying nothing happens like preterm labor. I don't want to go through that again.
I will keep everyone posted.

27 Weeks
If you thought the last post of me pregnant was large, just look at this....YIKES!
I am huge and only 27 weeks. I can barely move now, I hate to see what it's going to be like in a few more weeks. These boys are kicking my butt!

Easter 2010
The Easter Bunny came to our house!
Uhhh.... still waking up and checking everything out. He shot out of his bed so fast Easter morning, I was running to keep up with him going down the stairs. He came into our room and said, Mommy, lets see what the Easter Bunny brought.

Sticker books, fishing pole, more sticker books, books, Skippy Jon Jones books and an actual Skippy Jon Jones.

This was the first year that we dyed Easter eggs with Cameron. He loved it and caught on very quickly. I, however, did not have as much patience, and learned it is more involved than I realized. I also learned that I need to be more organized when it comes to things like this. He had fun and that's all that matters.

Whiney!
So apparently, I have been whining too much lately.
This morning while I was getting ready for work, Cameron was watching TV in our bed with Drew. I asked Drew if he could get me a granola bar because I was feeling a little yucky and my sweet loving son proceeds to say, "Mommy you are so whiney and you always want things". Our mouths dropped and we didn't know what to say. Drew explained to him that I need help with things sometimes because BeeBee and BooBoo are in my tummy.
Oh, what a little stinker. I guess me saying to him "Cameron stop whining and be a big boy" has rubbed off on him.

YES!
I cannot believe that the above Lillypie ticker says 99 days until the twins arrive!
Yes, I am loving seeing those days decrease.

Big Belly
Big Belly you're the one.... you make my life lots of fun.
This is what Cameron was singing to me this morning while I was getting ready for work. Not sure if any of you remember this song from Sesame Street ~ Rubber Ducky you're the one.... well we change up the words a lot to say different things.
He thought he was so funny when he was singing to me.

24 Week Perinatologist Appt.
I saw Dr. Allen yesterday. The boys are growing and developing very well. Once again, they measured a little ahead of schedule. Baby "A" is measuring 1lb 11 ounces and Baby "B" is measuring 1lb 10 ounces. The average is 1lb 4 ounces. So they are a little bigger than the norm. I told him about my contractions and he said that 2 in an hour is a lot, but the good news is that they have subsided and I'm not having as many as I was over the weekend. I think the traveling to Florida aggravated things. Baby "B" has a tad bit higher fluid. He said, it was just an observation nothing to be too concerned with yet. I asked him if I would get taken out of work early and he said probably around 30 to 32 weeks because of the contractions. I also asked him if he thought I would make it to 38 weeks and he said, No. He said, more like 36 weeks. Both doctors are estimating at this point, so the closer we get the more we will know.
Baby "B" I think is going to be our shy more laid back boy. He didn't want to show his face at all and she had a hard time getting his brain measurements because he was so low in pelvic yesterday. Baby "A" is more active. Both babies were just chatting away and moving their mouths. Chatter boxes already... Baby "B" did finally wave at me. It was sweet! So another good appointment. He wants to see me back in 3 weeks rather than 4. I think he is a little concerned with the contractions.
